Turning on/off Writing Outliner Addin for MS Word
Posted in: Word addin by Edwin on September 22, 2010
One of the recently added new features in Writing Outliner Word Add-in is the ability to temporarily turn off Writing Outliner when you don’t need its project-based long document writing features, and turn it on later on. Note, you’ll have to restart Microsoft Word after you turn Writing Outliner on or off.
See the following screenshot and you’ll understand what I mean. The screenshot is taken from an running instance of Microsoft Word 2007, in earlier versions of Word please check the main menu.

I have Word 2010 and I don’t have this tab.

Hi Rebeca,
Sorry for the confusion, but the new version that contains this feature hasn’t been released yet.

Hey, Edwin.
You’ve been a little quiet. Still hard at work, I hope.

Hi MuppetGate,
Sure, I’m still hard at work! The news from the honorable L&L will not give negative affect on the Writing Outliner development, since what makes Writing Outliner different is the seamless integration with Microsoft Word, Writing Outliner is built on its powerful formatting features 🙂
