Posted in: Outliner Software, Version History by Edwin on May 1, 2011
In the upcoming new version of Writing Outliner software (for MS Word on Windows),
you’ll be able to duplicate/copy documents in a writing project, by using the new copy and paste commands.
Most of you have requested this feature previously.

Hello,
Will Copy/Paste operations be usable on a whole folder (I mean : all the documents contained in the folder) ?
It will be usefull for testing alternative plot (by duplicating all the scenes of plot 1, and test a new scenes structure in plot 1B)
Regards,
DMons

@ DMons,
Yes! You can copy and paste both documents and folders in a Writing Outliner project.

I forget to ask if it copy/paste all the “metadata” of the source document ? I mean : the document properties, synopsis, tags, notes, and Compile Options.
Copy/paste feature should copy all content and metadata to be the most useful.
Thanks a lot.

Hey D Mons,
Thanks for asking, the answer is yes, any developer with a right mind should design such a copy and paste function like that 😉
