I bought the software. I was first very excited until this very painful problem seems to happen more than once.
I write/copy paste info in a doc.
Switch to another doc.
Go back to doc number one--> data is gone. (While doc number two keeps its data)
I tried saving with floppy disk icon and also with Menu, Save Project before switching with same data loss result.
Please help as I can`t use a program that will only save my work sometimes.
I deleted the file that I couldn`t seem to save and made a new one. This time I could save it.
Why can I sometimes save it and other times not?
This is a very scary way to work.
Please help.

I am also a new user and have found the software beneficial to my writing. Now I have encountered this same problem... twice. Any advice? I am using Windows XP and Word 2003.

Fortunately, I have not been able to reproduce the error. What I did notice when it happened was that when I attempted to save either by using Ctrl+S or selecting the Save Project in the Writing Outliner menu, the word count in the information box you get floating over the tab did not change. So when I had a page of new material and I accidentally tapped over to another folder in the project window, I had lost that new material when I clicked back to the document I was working on. I was running VLC player at the same time, as I was writing a description of the video, but it should have been paused. Since then I have made sure to use the Save Project under the menu and insure that the Word Count updates. So far, so good...
