Microsoft Word Addin for Writers!

   Hi, Edwin, here's the first bug (using word 2003). I mean, it seems I have caused this behavior myself, but since event reinstalling doesn't help, there seems to be a bug at least in the installation...

   After installing the new version, I noticed the very welcome new menu for enabling/disabling the Outliner. I just said: Great, just the menu name is very long, I'll shorten it to "WOutlin" to fit on the screen. A big mistake!

   * The menu now opens empty of is filled with commands from other menus.
   * Renaming it back to "&Writing Outliner" doesn't help.
   * Reinstalling doesn't help.
   * Uninstalling first and reinstalling doesn't help. The menu still opens empty or filled with commands from other add-ins (Adore PDF, for example).

   Can I do anything myself to get back the Writing Outliner menu? I think the disable function avaliable from it is a very welcome feature.

   Hi Andrej,

   that's a strange problem, would you try to delete the normal.dot file (please make a backup of it before the deletion). to find that file please search your system drive (or even the entire computer).

   Dear Edwin, I would prefer not to do that as the first line of action, since all my styles, toolbar and menu adjustments, macros etc. that I have used for years are stored in it :-)
